THE ARTIST (L'artista)
The Artist is a massive single coil inside a humbucker casing, with a wide sensitive area and a full and open sound, designed to be a replacement for guitars with humbuckers sets. The double Alnico 5 magnets develop a deep response on the low-end while the screw poles focus the magnetic field to get the best note definition possible. The metallic shell along with the shielded cable reduces the noise level, being still a single coil with its dynamic and bright attitude. The neck sounds warm and crystal clear, the bridge is full and aggressive, togheter are calibrated in volume and will adapt to any situation, no matter the style or the gain. The set works well with both 250K and 500k potentiometers so the personal taste is the only discriminating factor.
