The idea behind this pickup is to push the line of output as far as we can without losing clarity and definition, developing aggressiveness and bite along with sustain and note detail. The set shares the same energy and distinctive growl of its brother “The Spacenaut” but with more compression in the low-mids and a warmer split coil mode. Alnico5 in the neck, Ceramic in the bridge, this set takes all the qualities of the active pickups without the down sides and works greatly with both standard and drop tuned 6/7/8 string guitars.
